Vladimir Shainsky celebrates 80th anniversary.
On December 12 famous Russian composer celebrates his 80th birthday. Vladimir Shainsky told, that right after celebrating in family circle he intended to go to Russian Far East for submarine hunting. Shainsky was born on December 12, 1925 in Kiev. There he finished musical school, where he learned to play violin. After the Second World War he graduated from Moscow conservatory, orchestra faculty, as a violinist soloist.
In 1950s Shainsky played in Leonid Utesov?s orchestra, teached young people, worked as an composer and musical leader of different dance orchestras. In 1960s he studied in Baku conservatory, the composers faculty.
During 40-year career of a composer Shainsky wrote a great number of works for children, including music and songs for popular cartoons, musicals, and even an opera. He also wrote music for many films, as well as songs for popular Russian pop-singers.
