Widow demands requisitioning of book about Rolan Bykov
Widow of actor and producer Rolan Bykov has declared to court with demand to requisition books about husband.
This was declared by lawyer Irina Tulubeva, who presents interests of Bykov`s widow Elena Sanaeva in court.
The ground for court examination became the book "The kindest Barmalei Rolan Bykov", released by publishing house "A.P.B" this autumn. This book was published without agreement with Bykov`s heiress, lawyer stated. "Moreover, this book is an impudent compilation of another property, piratical use of materials from another book", - she added.
By words of the lawyer, in 1999 Sanaeva and Fund of Rolan Bykov published the album, devoted to life and work of the actor. Publishing house "A.P.B." reprinted articles and photographs from this edition. Therefore, defendant violated the author`s rights.
Widow of Bykov demands to repair a damage of 500 thousands rubles, to requisition from sale and destroy 3 thousands copies of infringing edition.
