Olympic champion worked as souteneur
Wolfgang Swartz, an Olympic champion in figure-skating in 1968, is accused in souteneurcy by Austrian authorities.
As investigation found out 58-year old Swartz organized arrival of 2 women from Lithuania and forced them to prostitute taking away the main part of earned money. This is not the first case Swartz is accused of souteneurcy. He was sentenced to 1.5 years of prison in 2002 but in view of problem with health - circumstances of skin cancer medical treatment - verdict was postponed. Then investigation proved that Swartz brought 5 Russian and Lithuanian women to Austria and forced them to prostitute. Swartz on his turn doesn?t admit this verdict and says that he just tried to improve financial situation of women. That was the reason he brought them to Austria.
