Actors started whip-round for Leonid Filatov?s monument
Russian Guild of cinema actors has started a whip-round to set-up the monument to Leonid Filatov, Russian actor, film and theatre director and poet. According to the guild?s press-release, on December 19 charity concert with cinema and theatre actors? participation will be hold in the House of Cinema. All the collected money will be passed on setting-up the monument to Filatov.
Moreover, the guild has called those who support this action upon transferring means to a special account. $18 thousand are demanded to set up the monument.
Leonid Filatov died on October 26, 2003 of long serious disease.
