Kamil Iskhakov to control situation with Amur contamination
Presidential Envoy in Far-eastern Federal District Kamil Iskhakov is going to visit the settlements Nizhne-Leninskoye and Petrovskoye in Jewish autonomous region. Twenty-four-hour analysis on harmful substance presence in water is being conducted in these settlements.
Kamil Iskhakov is also going to fly all over the levees being built on the canals Kazakevichevo and Pemzenskaya, informed the Envoy?s press-secretary Eugeniy Anoshin. The Envoy is to visit the Russian Emergency Minisitry stuff?s camp, and the water analysis laboratory of Far-East water and ecology problems research institute in Khabarovsk. During afternoon
Kamil Iskhakov is to hold the meeting with operating staff on forecasting and elimination of possible consequences of the Amur river contamination.
The operating staff was created on November 25, the meetings are held twice a day.
Contamination of Amur river by chemicals took place as a result of explosion at chemical plant in Chinese town Tsilin in mid-November. Pollution zone is expected to reach the Amur river on December 21.
