TU-154 knocks down street lamps
Passenger plane TU-154, arrived from Moscow drove off the landing strip when landing. The plane knocked down several street lamps in the airport "Alykyel".
The officials of Department for Civil Defense and Emergencies assured journalists, that none of passengers and crew-members were hurt. The official of Norilsk Civil Defense and Emergencies Administration mentioned, that the incident doesn?t refer to emergency situations, requiring the emergency service?s attention.
According to provisional data, the incident was caused by strong lateral wind.
On December 20 Norilsk airport stopped its work in connection with further deterioration of weather conditions, informed the "Kras-air" airline press-cutting service. It`s unknown when the flights to Norilsk are resumed.
