200-meter Christmas tree to be decorated in Cheboksary
Tall Christmas tree was constructed from metal on main square of the town. But the highest and most original Christmas tree of Cheboksary will become the TV tower.
TV tower became the main hero of festive fantasies of citizens. It will be decorated with garlands, Christmas crackers and other attributes of New Year holiday. The idea of reincarnation of equipment into fairy-tale was suggested by ordinary engineer of tower crane Dmitry Skretoten. After workday he arrived at an idea to decorate 196-meter building as a Christmas tree. He sent the idea to city administration by e-mail, where it was approved and developed by decorators. About 20 colorful garlands with total length of 2 kilometers will be spent on decoration of unusual Christmas tree.
City administration liked the idea so much that even agreed to cover the expenses.
