Putin supported idea of presidential library creation
Vladimir Putin has supported the idea of presidential library creation in Petersburg. It will be placed in Senate and Synod building along with Constitutional court.
"Complex of Senate and Synod deserves more. It will be a good idea to create library of Russian president in one of the current buildings", - said the director of Russian State historical archives Alexander Sokolov.
By his words, the complex can become "a center with modern technologies, equipped with internet-technologies with all information available". Sokolov compared this library with library of USA Congress.
The chairman of Russian Constitutional court Valery Zorkin considers that presidential library can be the center of constitutionalism. "Such library can be the center of constitutionalism in Russia and could keep Constitution with all its interpretations and doctrinal practices in operational status", - said Zorkin.
