Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin exempted from Figure Skating Championship
Two times gold champions Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin exempted themselves from the Figure skating championship, taking place in Kazan these days.
On Tuesday morning Tatiana felt acute pain in her liver, and both skaters left the ice.
Tatiana had chronic cholecystitis fit, informed Russian Championship chief secretary Alexander Kogan.
Tatiana didn?t feel well on Monday night, and pain grew by the morning.
Totmianina and Marinin must have opened short program in pairs competition on Tuesday. at the same time, another pair, Elena Yefaueva and Aleksey Menshikov, was reported to exempt themselves from the competition. Elena fell down at the training, and was taken to the hospital with brain concussion.
The day before, Irina Slutskaya was reported to miss the Championship because of high temperature.
