State Duma: solution of "gas" issue is victory of common sense
Russian State Duma positively estimates the reasonable compromise, which was achieved by Russia and Ukraine in gas conflict.
"This is the victory of common sense", - declared the first vice-speaker of State Duma Oleg Morozov.
In his opinion, this is "a large political compromise in interests of not only Russia and Ukraine but also of European partners".
Morozov thinks that without attempts from both sides a deadlock could occur.
Co-chairman of political group "Rodina" Dmitry Rogozin considers that all sides benefited from solution of gas issue because a conflict in energetic sphere is a question of national security.
Rogozin noted that Gazprom always had a reputation of stable gas supplier. "West should know that company will be a stable partner", - emphasized Rogozin.
By his words, along with solution of issue with Ukrainian gas price formation stable conditions for gas transit to EU countries have been created.
