Prohibition to be cancelled on ISS?
Operating on the International Space Station prohibition for cosmonauts maybe cancelled soon. Strict prohibition for alcohol on the station has been in operation for 5 years, as soon as the first cosmonauts appeared on the station. The one who try to bring alcoholic drinks to the station will be dismissed. However, the specialists come out for the indulgence concerning alcohol lately. However, the famous space pilot Georgy Grechko is sure, that it`s not serious to speak about allowing alcohol in space. He thinks, that limited doses of alcohol are possible, for better relaxation after some difficult and long flights (about one teaspoon before sleep). "I don`t think it is so awful. If I were the director, I would allow it", explained the space pilot. On the board of Russian space station "Mir", which worked for 15 years, alcohol was not so strictly prohibited. Some cosmonauts say it was possible to drink 10-20 gram of French cognac time after time.
