Luge of Demchenko turned over in World Cup Championship
Owner of World Cup of last season, Russian luger Albert Demchenko couldn`t finish first attempt in 6-th stage of World Cup in German town Konigssee because of fall.
This was informed by president of Russian Luge Federation Valery Silakov.
"There was a thick fog in Konigssee and visibility was limited, - said Silakov. - Besides there was a delay before start and Albert spent 5 more minutes in starting room. As a result when he came out to the air, safety glass of the helmet got misted. This fact became the main cause of his turn over during first attempt. Thanks God, Albert was not injured".
