Criminal knifed parishioners in Moscow synagogue
"At 17:30 by Moscow time Muscovite Alexander Koptsev of 1985 year of birth rushed into the building of synagogue, situated on Bolshaya Bronnaya street. He wounded 8 people, who were in synagogue, by knife", - said capital prosecutor.
All injured were hospitalized to city hospital named after Botkin and Scientific Investigational Institute of emergency named after Sklifasovsky.
Doctors estimate condition of 2 victims, wounded during attack at synagogue, as severe; lives of another 6 people are out of danger. This was informed by press-service of Russian Federation of Jewish Communities Timur Kireev.
"Michael Mishulevin, who neutralized the aggressor, underwent surgery. His condition is stable", - he said.
"Operation on Aron Menakhen continues in 1 Gradsky hospital. He has a knife wound of neck, his state is severe", - informed Kireev.
"The lives of remaining 6 victims are out of danger", - he added.
Moscow prosecutor Anatoly Zuev informed that there are citizens of USA, Israel, Tajikistan among victims in Moscow synagogue.
As Zuev informed, rabbi of synagogue Itskhak Kogan got light wounds, and he was rendered medical treatment on place of accident.
"Some mass media sources inform that rabbi was severely wounded and is in reanimation. This is not true. Rabbi is in good health and his life is out of danger", - said Zuev.
Moscow prosecutor informed that he will control investigation of the case personally. Membership of assaulter to criminal group will be established during investigation.
