Program of Mikhail Osokin on NTV channel shut down
News program of NTV channel "Today with Mikhail Osokin", coming out at midnight, was closed.
By tentative data, decision about closing of the program was made in the view of funds economy. But there is no official confirmation of this information. Mikhail Osokin refused to comment the situation.
As a reminder, Osokin performed evening news on channel at 19:00, but his program was moved to midnight in summer.
In December several Russian mass media informed about staff report, which was handed to general director of NTV Vladimir Kulistikov. In this complaint presenters of news refused to work under direct supervision of head redactor of informational programs Tatyana Mitkova and her deputy Igor Sidorovich. It was noted that Mikhail Osokin also signed the letter.
