Soldier Sychev to be conveyed to Moscow hospital
Soldier Andrei Sychev, the victim of unregulated relationships in Chelyabinsk tank institute, will be transported to Mosow military hospital named after Burdenko as soon as state of his health improves.
This was announced by doctors in charge of the case. By their words, Sychev will be transferred from reanimation to ordinary ward soon. He was disconnected from medical ventilation apparatus and breathes on his own now.
The incident in battalion of educational process maintenance of Chelyabinsk tank institute happened during New Year holidays but received the publicity at the end of January. Elder servicemen beat several soldiers - as a result of humiliation one victim has got gangrene. He was amputated legs and vital organs.
On Tuesday, January 31, representatives of Russian Public Chamber visited Chelyabinsk hospital where Sychev is placed. They met with doctors and mother of the soldier. They talked with head physician of the hospital and his colleagues for an hour and "were shocked at details of the crime".
During press-conference in Kremlin Vladimir Putin commented the incident: "The accident in Chelyabinsk is a horrible act of violence. We are all guilty in that. Minister of defence has prepared and will submit suggestions of improvement in this sphere, including possible formation of military police".
Meanwhile minister of defence Sergey Ivanov has announced about toughening of punishment for concealing of any violation in army.
