Putin and Sapatero to discuss issues of mutual trade
During Russian-Spanish negotiations at high level Vladimir Putin and Spanish premier Hose Luis Rodriguez Sapatero will discuss questions of mutual trade, investment co-operation and energy security.
This was informed by assistant of president Sergey Prikhodko. He noted that the primary task is to regulate structure of commodity circulation, where energy carriers and petrochemistry dominate. Prikhodko informed that mutual commodity circulation came to $3.7 milliards in 2005 (Russian export - $2.5 milliards, import - $1.2 milliards).
According to presidential data the main part of supplies is mineral fuel (more than 70% of export). Part of automobiles and equipment comes to only 0.2%. The volume of cumulative mutual, direct investments is estimated as $140-150 millions.
"We need to know that Spain is confident in continuity of energy resources supplies from Russia. Suggestions of how to make Spanish economics more stable in this sense are also welcomed", - said Prikhodko.
