9 years old boy swam from prison
Early in the morning on Monday 9 years old boy Johnny Wilson swam from the famous prison Alcatraz till San Francisco.
He swam the distance of 2,25 km in the cold water. It took him around 2 hours.
Proceeds from this program - about 30 thousand dollars will go to the International Committee of the Red Cross to help victims of the hurricane "Katrina".
On the bank Wilson was met by his schoolmates and mass media.
Wilson was interviewed. He said that the most difficult part was to start, because the water was cold and the waves were big.
