Private kindergartens and mini-kindergartens developing in Yekaterinburg
Private kindergartens and mini-kindergartens are developing in Yekaterinburg. According to the head of the city Education Department Eugenia Umnikova, at present there are 6 private kindergartens operating in Yekaterinburg.
All of them have appeared not long ago. "We support such establishments development. First of all, parents of he city need them. There is a specific layer of well-to-do parents appeared, who want their children to be brought up in special conditions", noted Eugenia Umnikova. In private kindergartens, in contrast to municipal ones, parents have to pay all costs for their children.
The system of mini-kindergartens, registered by private entrepreneurs, is also actively developed. They are working with small groups of children, and educational work is not allowed.
However more and more well-to-do parents prefer mini-kindergartens, as every child receives there an individual approach.
The specialists of Education Department advise to parents to check the documents, allowing this activity, before entrusting their children to such an establishment. Some of them are operating without allowance.
