Perm speed skater Svetlana Vysokova wins bronze medal on Torino Olympic Games
Perm speed skater Svetlana Vysokova has won bronze medal on Torino Olympic Game. Svetlana Vysokova took part in the final team pursuit as a part of Russian team.
Our speed skaters managed to beat Japanese team and won bronze medals. Together with Svetlana in the final Varvara Barysheva and Galina Likhacheva collaborated in Russian team victory.
Vysokova also participated in 3000m team pursuit, and took 18th place.
Svetlana goes in for speed skating for already 20 years. This year she is 34. She has been the Champion of Russia 18 times, participated in World and Europe Championships.
Torino Olympic Games are the second games for Svetlana. In 1998 on Nagano Winter Games she took part in two distances and took 12 place both times.
Svetlana`s coach is Victor Sivkov. She started her sports career in Krasnokamensk.
