Painters themselves attracted their attention to the miracle that happened in a church. There is no scientific explanation of this fact. Nuns of Svyato-Nikolskii nunnery do not know what does the god?s attention to their cloister mean.
Many pilgrims felt the healing power of spring water. Eczemas disappear, head-ache ends, but main miracle they can see in the temple. They can see a process of self-renewal of icons there.
Painters-restorers first drew attention to the miracle. The representation of face of Jesus Christ surprised them first - it was dim like faces of angels which represented on left and right of Him. Then fresco brightened up, then representations of faces of evangelists changed.
