Champion of Torino Plushenko leaves for business and professional sport
The Olympic champion of Torino-2006 in Men Free Skating Evgeni Plushenko to all appearances changed his mind to stay in the amateur sport before the Olympiad in Vancouver and he reported about his decision a few days ago just after his victory. Now the sportsman is planning to continue his performances among the professionals and is going to start his business.
"In the professional figure skating I can perform for other seven years, even more, - says Plushenko. - As for the amateurs I do not know. It is necessary to hold yourself in the form. Also in the amateurish rolling the figure skaters do not have any material help. It is enough I rolled already for the state, won rewards. This collection that I have you can`t find in other Russian figure skaters. I thinkI can roll for myself now".
Furthermore, Plushenko noted, at the Turin Olympiad the rivals astonished him by the fact that they appeared very badly: "I expected from them greater, becauseI saw, as they rolled on other competitions. My mom said correctly, that they are not ready yet to the Olympiad".
