TV journalist Vlad Listyev was killed 11 years ago. On Wednesday the colleagues of the journalist will commemorate this grievous date.
On information from the Russian Federation Prosecutor General`s Office, investigation has not moved from the dead point. The volume of the investigation materials exceeds two hundreds of volumes, however the guilty are not named and punished. The investigators consider the version of the homicide connected with Listyev`s activity on the post of director general of "Public Russian Television" ("ORT"), to be of priority.
38-year old Vlad Listyev headed "ORT" in January 1995, and in March 1 in the doorway of his house with two shots to the back.
Vlad Listyev became known in late 1980s as a creator and presenter of several TV programmes. In 1994 he was elected a vice-president of Academy of Russian television.
Prosecutor General`s Office declares that the investigation of Vlad Listyev`s homicide is continued.
