Ingush airport closed because of emergency state of runway
Airport Magas was closed down in Ingushetia because of emergency condition of a runway.
"The condition of runway violates any norms of safe exploitation", - reported representative of Ingush state press-service.
He noted that experts came to conclusion that technology of runway construction, which was realized in 1995-1998, didn`t correspond to present soil category.
"Drainage system was damaged, which led to fracture of drainage pipes as a result of soil softening and subsidence by rain-water. Moreover, separation of concrete slabs was registered and rain water penetrated deep into the gap", - noted representative of press-service. He said that president of Ingushetia Murat Zyazikov charged Ingush government with preparation of runway for service within 3 weeks.
By data of Ingush government, flight "Ingushetia-Moscow" will be realized from Vladikavkaz airport during reconstruction works. Special treaty has been already concluded.
