The eye started to bother Moscow pensioner Anatoly Yasak a month before visit to doctor. But Muscovite addressed to doctor only after eye turned red. Ophthalmic surgeon Sergey Kopaev revealed unusual yellow formation on eye during primary inspection.
"As lamp light warmed the eye, - says the doctor, - it became apparent that white stripe moves inside eyeball. I decided that it was a parasite worm".
There was a threat that worm will crawl away to conjunctiva and get into brains and doctors decided to act immediately. The surgery lasted less than 5 minutes. Surgeon Sergey Kopaev cut the cocoon.

The worm was carried into Anatoly`s eyes through mosquito. These insects spread bladder worms. The patient remembered that mosquito stung him in the eye in autumn but he didn`t pay attention to that. The case is considered unique and will be reported at medical conference in London.
