Parliament election pronounced valid in Altai
Election of deputies to Altai State Assembly pronounced valid. This was informed by chairman of republican electoral commission Evgeniy Meshkinov.
By data of electoral committee over 48 thousand people, which is over 36% of all electors, took part in election by 14:00 (11:00 by Moscow time). Election of deputies to Altai parliament is considered valid if at least 25% of electors have voted. Significant violations are not registered.
Election of deputies to Altai State Assembly of 4-th calling is held by combined system: 20 deputies will be elected by single member constituencies and 21 - by lists of political parties, which should clear the 5 percent barrier for entry to the parliament. 370 candidates struggle for 41 deputy mandates. 13 departments of Russian political parties out of 24 acting on republican territory participate in election.
