Boos deprives Kaliningrad ex-officials of privilege
On Thursday Kaliningrad regional Duma will examine bill of Georgiy Boos about deprivation of ex-bureaucrats money raise.
It is assumed that after privilege cancellation regional treasury will save 8 millions rubles in 2005 and 34 millions next year.
Boos intends to cancel privileges for high rank ex-officials, particularly additional payment to pension, payment of 10 wages when retiring on pension and annual payment of cash allowance when discharge in case of reorganization. Bill will affect about 300 ex-officials not only Russian but even Soviet.
Kaliningrad ex-officials disputed initiative of new governor. Some of them will take it into court in order to protect own rights.
At present time average additional payment to pension of regional ex-official amounts 5000 rubles.
