Mystery of Stonehenge
A sensational discovery made English archaeologists on Salisbury plain. It turned out that Stonehenge is not the only monument in this area, next he found another 17 unknown buildings, probably of a religious nature.
Where, at first glance, studied every inch, archaeologists have been able to make a huge discovery. At a depth of several meters around the famous Neolithic monument of Stonehenge in southwest British Wiltshire Stonehenge discovered the temples and ritual of burial, and unusual stone circles. Just found 17 buildings.
This discovery allows us to draw conclusions about what Stonehenge is not an isolated monument, as for many years believed scientists all over the world. Probably, it is only part of a very large building complex. Hopefully English archaeologists, Stonehenge is part of the ensemble of temples, mounds, ditches and places of ritual sacrifice.
"Our map and moral ideas about Stonehenge did not meet reality. After our opening they radically changed. In the end, the archaeologists were able to prove that this mysterious monument was not alone and was spatially and culturally associated with a large number of ritual buildings. This is a whole complex of monuments, the purpose of which still need to be solved" - quoted by managing excavations Vince Gaffney the Guardian.
Note that English scientists through a special radar, designed at the Vienna University of Ludwig Boltzmann, created the latest digital archaeological map of Stonehenge. They managed to clear all configuration in the landscape that have occurred at this place for the past 5 thousand years.
