Ambassador of Kazakhstan Smolnikova won capital marathon
MOSCOW, 21 Sep - R-Sport. Kazakhstan runner Irina Smolnikova became the winner of the Moscow marathon, which took place on Sunday in the capital of Russia.
Smolnikova overcame the distance in 2 hours and 40 minutes 22 seconds, the second place was taken by a Citizen of Russia Oksana Akimenkov (2: 43. 29), rounded out the top three best Love Denisov from Gainesville (USA, 2: 44. 41).
The winner of the men became Kenyan Salomon Bargeton (2: 17. 24), the citizen of Russia Sergey Zyryanov (2: 19. 37 second, the Ukrainian Sergey Marchuk (2: 19. 48) - the third.
The oldest participant of the second Moscow marathon - 79 years.
