Boris Eltzin underwent operation on right eye
First Russian president Boris Eltzin on Octover 10 underwent not serious ophthalmologic surgery. Operation was on eye lens.
"Shortly before Boris Eltzin sensed that his right eye sees worse than usual. He turned to experts of 52-th hospital. After examination doctors decided that Eltzin needs operation. Eltzin agreed on surgery".
Operation lasted 35 minutes without hospitalization. After surgery Eltzin went home.
From early morning all wards were closed, patients were asked not to go out. There were rumors that Putin himself will be operated.
On October 2003 Boris Eltzin already had surgery on eye lens` change in both eyes. Operation on one eye was made by German surgeon and on another - Fedorov`s apprentice ophthalmologist Michael Konovalov.
