Russian fighter of the 5th generation T-50 will be almost invulnerable to rivals, thanks to the original complex electronic warfare "Himalayas". The plane will be invisible in consequence of the latest smart plating.
Concern radio-Electronic technologies, which is part of Rostec, said that for domestic fighter of 5th generation T-50 project (PAK FA) was placed 1st batch of unique complexes electronic warfare "Himalayas". New smart plating guarantees plane a large detection range, multi-channel tracking of targets and use of missile weapons.
The system is considered to be one of the main parts of the fighter of the 5th generation, which will allow to reduce a common ground plane to increase its survivability and combat effectiveness.
"The original system of intensive and passive radar and optical radar stations included in the body of the plane and performs the function of smart siding. Its use not only brings to perfection the immunity and combat survivability of the aircraft, but also neutralises technologies reduce the visibility of aircraft of the opponent", - is told in the news company.
PAK FA Russian universal fighter of the 5th generation. T-50 on its own qualities has an unprecedented low level of radar, optical and infrared visibility. The projects of the Russian air force, serial deliveries will begin in 2016.
