UN: elections in Ukraine are obliged to help the settlement of the fall
In the UN we hope that the upcoming Ukraine parliamentary elections will help a political settlement in that country.
" I hope that the parliamentary elections will be a step towards a peaceful political settlement in this country, " said the first day of the week at a press conference in the UN official authorized UN Stefan Dujarric.
Answering the question about whether the UN to recognize a legitimate elections in the breakaway territories of Donetsk and Lugansk national republics, the diplomat said: " It does not matter for the UN to judge the legitimacy of those or other election."
Early elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed on 26 October. LNR and DND propose to undertake independent elections on 2 November.
