1st units at Khmelnitsky NPP is disconnected from the grid to provide the possibility of recovery, informs on the First day of the week the Ministry of energy of Ukraine.
" November 1, 2014 to 01. 44 (02. 44 GMT) 1st units at Khmelnitsky NPP is disconnected from the grid to enable the current recovery, " said the report.
from Khmelnitsky NPP employs two power generating units with a rated capacity of 1000 MW each. 1st unit was enacted December 22, 1987, the second on August 8, 2004.
The radiation condition at the industrial site and in the adjacent regions did not change, is at the level corresponding to normal operation of the units and does not exceed the natural background values.
