NATO is planning a large-scale maneuvers in Eastern Europe
The Alliance is planning a large-scale maneuvers in Eastern Europe and the Baltic States, said the commander of the United forces of NATO in Brunssum (Netherlands), General Hans-Lothar Domrose.

The member countries of the NATO 5 September at a conference in Wales adopted a plan to strengthen the collective defence of the Commonwealth and agreed on the parameters of new rapid reaction force in response to Russia's policy toward Ukraine. Units of the rapid reaction forces NATO for defence of the Eastern European members of the Commonwealth will be at least several thousand soldiers, deployable, said NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
