Petr Pimashkov opened new bridge over Bugach river in Krasnoyarsk
On October 14 near meat-packing factory which is on Krasnoyarsk-Elita high way took place new bridge putting into operation ceremony.
The head of Krasnoyarsk Petr Pimashkov noted that previous bridge caused many problems to Krasnoyarsk citizens who entered town because it was in tumbledown condition and its further exploitation was dangerous. "Constructors assured me that new bridge must stand for 50 years as minimum. It will have strategical meaning for development of building in this region", - noted Pimashkov.
The head of Krasnoyarsk congratulated bridge constructors - "Krasnoyarskautodor" organization - with Traffic administration holiday and handed gratifying letters. Then Petr Pimashkov and vice-governor of territory Vitaly Bobrov cut off symbolical "red ribbon" and bridge was open.
Carrying capacity of new bridge is 1.5 times larger than of old one, its length id 18 meters, width - 15 meters. It has foot-paths. The cost of construction amounted to 23 millions of rubles.
Vice-governor Vitaly Bobrov said that bridge was built within the bounds of regional road and bridge constructing program. For its realization were given 350 millions of rubles in 2005 and amount of financing will increase to 450 millions of rubles in 2006. During 3-year program 1.2 milliards of rubles will be spent on traffic city branch.
