Sebastian CoE announced his candidacy for the position of head of state IAAF
MOSCOW, 27 Nov - R-Sport. Two-time Olympic champion in the 1,500 meters Briton Sebastian CoE announced his nomination for the post of President of the international Association of athletics federations (IAAF), informs.
The current head of the IAAF Senegalese Lamin deacon first announced that it would not participate in the new elections in 2015.
CoE since 2007 holds the post of Vice President of the IAAF. His main rival in the upcoming election is the famous Ukrainian pole vaulter Sergey Bubka, who while not officially announced his candidacy.
