Microsoft and the government of Ukraine signed the agreement on cybersecurity
The company " Microsoft Ukraine and the government of Ukraine signed an agreement on cooperation on security issues (Government Security Program or GSP), said at a press conference on the last working day of the week the head of the state service of special communication of Ukraine Vladimir Zverev.
according to him, in the framework of this agreement, the Corporation will provide the state service of special communication of Ukraine access to the source code and technical data about the software.
" The signing of the GSP is consistent with international experience in the field of cyber security and will give the opportunity to make a big step to ensure the protection of information in Ukraine ", - said Zverev.
He said that the agreement will also give the opportunity to assess the security and integrity of the software by testing in the Centre of transparency Microsoft. Under the agreement, the Corporation will also provide data on the global cyber threats and sources of network attacks that will promote the prevention of and response to incidents in the digital space.
