Television serial "Cadets" is going to win award "Emmy International"
Television serial "Cadets" became the first Russian film which was among finalists that pretend to American television award "Emmy International".
Television serial "Cadets" was shot to 60th anniversary of Victory based on memoirs of film director Petr Todorovskii. Main events in film take place in winter of 1942 year in artillery college.
There are 37 nominees in this year and 9 categories: best arts programme, best actor, best actress, best children and young people`s programme, best comedy, best documentary, best TV serial, best non-scripted entertainment and best TV movie/mini-series.
Rivals of the Russian film will be Danish television serial "Eagle" and two British serials "New Tricks" and "Spooks".
International television academy awards "Emmy International" which is subdivision of National television academy of the US. International television academy was created in 1969 to help developing of television outside US.
The rewarding ceremony will take place in New York, November, 21.
