Lawyer: extension arrest Savchenko have the opportunity to consider in closed mode
Consideration of the extension of the arrest of Ukrainian pilots Hope Savchenko, most likely, will be held in closed mode, said her lawyer Ilya Novikov.
He said that prior to the extension of the arrest, the investigator added in the folder with the materials of the case by the testimony of the militia, not scramble his name (the other witnesses as appear in the proceedings under pseudonyms). On this basis, the court held a meeting behind closed doors, so as not to disclose this data.
"I am sure that this time there will be a reason to close the meeting," said Novikov.
He added that the investigator appointed in the case of 7 new expertise." I am unable to tell in detail what questions put to the experts that the investigator is not subjected to charge me in the disclosure of information about the investigation process, " said the lawyer.
Novikov believes that such examination ought to motivate before the court the necessity of extending the period of detention.
Savchenko placed under arrest in Russia from July 2014 on charges of belonging to the deprivation of life 2 correspondents RTR, died during combat operations in the Donbass. Later she was elected a member of the permanent delegation of the Rada in PACE. The very pilot denies all accusations, demanding the return to Ukraine.
