The head of Poland ratified the agreement on Association of Ukraine with EU
The head of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski has ratified the agreement on Association of Ukraine with the European Union, informs on Thursday, the press service of the head of the country.
the Association agreement with the EU, Ukraine signed in Brussels on 27 June 2014. The Association provides for the deepening of economic relations between Ukraine and the EU, harmonization in the field of law and development of a free trade zone.
the full document will come into force after ratification by the parliaments of the member countries of the EU. The main part of the agreement entered into force on 1 November, and the section on the free trade area will come into force on 1 January 2016.

During the visit of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Warsaw on 17 December last year, the head of Poland signed a law giving the range of possibilities Komorowski for ratification of the Treaty on the unity of the EU-Ukraine.
