Boxer died after a title fight
Australian boxer Braydon Smith died after a title fight with Pacquiao John Vincent Moralde. It was the 1st defeat Smith in the professional ring.
Last March 14, ten round fight for the title of Asian champion at Featherweight (to 57.2 kg) ended in victory for the Filipino. All arbitrators unanimously gave the advantage to Moralize.
At the conclusion of the battle Smith congratulated the opponent, and then as if nothing had happened, went to the locker room. There is an Australian boxer felt ill and lost consciousness. 23-year-old moved to the hospital and connected to life support. Health workers two days fighting for the life of Smith, however he died in consequence of a cerebral hemorrhage, reports Bleacher Report.
The defeat of Moralde became the first Australian in a professional career. Previously, Smith has won 12 fights in a row (10 of them by knockout).
Note that boxers often fatally injured in the ring. Last year in Bryansk died 22-year-old boxer Maxim Kolomeitsev. The young athlete died in the city hospital the result of injuries acquired during the battle.
Fatal tournament was held at the sports Palace of Bryansk state technical Institute. During the match Kolomeitsev missed a few hard blows to the head, in consequence of which he lost consciousness. Boxer was immediately taken to hospital and underwent surgery, but after a while the doctors pronounced him dead of an athlete.
