Biography Gudiashvili Lado (Vladimir)
1896, Tbilisi - 1980 Tbilisi. He studied at the Tiflis school of painting and sculpture of the Caucasian society to promote Fine Arts (1910-14). In 1914-19 published in the magazine "Theater and Life", "Ars," Phoenix ". In 1919-25 he lived in Paris, designed the performances of Italian opera, together with C. Sudeikin and H. Benoit. In 1927-34 - Professor of Tiflis Academy of Arts. Participant of numerous exhibitions in the USSR and abroad (from 1915). For his work is characterized by decorative and increased expressivity. He consciously tried to be a Georgian artist not only "content", but "in form". Works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Central Theater Museum of. A.
