Biography Matyushin Michael
1861, Nizhny Novgorod - 1934, Leningrad. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory (1875-80), then PU OPKh (1886-89), School of Drawing and Painting E. Zvantseva (1906-07). Exhibitions since 1908. He was a member of the group H. Kulbin "The Impressionists" (1909). One of the organizers, and a permanent member of the exponents of the Union of Youth "(1911-14). Actively engaged in publishing. In 1913-14 he wrote the music for the futuristic musical theater. Matyushin - one of the biggest figures in the Russian avant-creator of the art school, who introduced the non-objectivity in the mainstream of the natural qualities and values. His work, moving away from objectivity, keep a vital connection with nature, its irrelevance is filled with color and shapes, ranging from observations of nature and its "creativity". Works are held in the State Tretyakov Gallery and TSGALI, Moscow, RM, St. Petersburg, etc.. museum and private collections.
