GRANTINSH Janis

GRANTINSH Janis (07. 06. 1909 - 25. 10. 1974), actor.
He graduated from the three-year drama studio Working Theater Latvia (1934). From 1935 - Actor Drama Theater of Riga, from 1938 worked in the theater Liepaja, Daugavpils, Jelgava. From 1950 - Actor Spectators in Riga.
State Winner. Prize of the USSR (1950 - for participation in the film 'Rainis').
Honored Artist of the Latvian SSR (1949).
