Nikolai Burdenko Nilovich

(1876-1946 gg.) - Russia's outstanding surgeon military surgery, one of the founders of nevrohirurgii, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor. Since 1910. - Assistant Professor Department of Surgery at the Surgical Clinic of Tartu University, then - extra-ordinary professor in the department of operative surgery, desmurgy and topographic anatomy in 1917. - Ordinary professor of Faculty Surgical Clinic. He was a member of the editorial board of the multi-volume work "The experience of Soviet medicine in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
