Born June 2, 1941 in Moscow region. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the family was evacuated to Krasnoyarsk.
In 1962, GP Komarov graduated Krasnoyarsk Railway College. In 1969 - Omsk Institute of Railway Engineers. Specialty - electrical engineer.
His career began in 1962 at the East-Siberian railway locomotive depot in the city Nizhneudinsk. Promotion from the rank and file posts to the head of the depot. He then worked as deputy chief and chief of the Taishet Branch of the East Siberian Railway, then head of the Irkutsk Branch of the East-Siberian Railway. The last 13 years, served as chief of the East-Siberian railway.
RF Government Decree of 28/03/2000. appointed Head of the October Railway.
