Born June 14, 1950 in g. Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
He graduated from Leningrad State Engineering and Economics Institute in 1972, the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography in 1979.
In 1980-1984 he. worked as a director: the Leningrad Theater. Lenin Komsomol in 1984-1986. - In Leningrad's Academic Theater. Lensoveta.
From 1986 to 1989, Semyon Spivak, head of the ensemble drama "The Young Theater, which under Lenkontserte. His first work in this team became "Kabanchik" VS. Rozov.
