Born in g.U Han, China. Father - Zou Sheng Xiang (1892 g.rozhd.). Mother - Kuan Hsien Chen (1916 g.rozhd.). Children: Ponyaeva Vera (rod.16.04.1958 g.), Shcherbakova Olga (rod.26.08.1959), the Zhou Nan Nan (rod.07.08.1980), the Zhou Ai Hua (rod.03.12.1991 g.).

Graduated from Moscow State University, in geophysics "(1953-1958 gg.). He holds the title of Principal Engineer Professor ".

In 1958-1964. - Editor of the scientific journal Aerogeophysica ". From 1979 to 1990. - Chief editor of the scientific journal "Technology of Petroleum Geophysics", chief editor of the magazine "Express Petroleum Geophysics". Author of numerous collections of information on petroleum geophysics and aerogeophysics.

He is an honorary professor at the Institute for Advanced Studies of Odessa, Academician of International Informatization Academy. In 1993 - 1998 he. served as honorary chairman of Chinese communities of Moscow and president of the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs Moscow.

He is fond of swimming. He likes classical music, especially the 1-st concert of Tchaikovsky and China Symphony "Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Ying Tai".
