Biography Arkady (in the world Grigory Fedorov)
(1784 - 1870), son of a deacon Vladimir province. A bishop and archbishop of Orenburg, Perm and Olonets. Activity A. was directed mainly at the treatment of Old Believers. Many of his works, written mostly in the spoken form, are devoted to the same subject. Major works: "Remarks on the 9 th chapter of the Catholic Patriarch Filaret presentation Nikitich", "A note on the fifth Pomorskii answer," "Something about a split in the Church of Russia", etc.. Reverend And. conducted a very extensive correspondence, some of which appeared in the press. Biographical information about A. placed in work against. E. Popova, "Velikopermskaya and the Perm diocese" (Perm, 1879). Memories of A. Professor Petersburg. Theological Academy I.E. Trinity published in The Christian Reading "in 1882, in the same journal for all time editing his professor at Trinity (1882 - 91) were published almost continuously various materials to the biography of Alexander: his words, conversations, letters, letters to him, and t. n.
