Biography Henryk Wieniawski I. (Wieniawski)
(1835 - 1880). He studied at the Paris Conservatoire. Together with his brother Joseph (piano) gave concerts in St. Petersburg and Moscow with great success. In 1860, Mr.. invited soloist with orchestra in St. Petersburg Imperial Theaters; in 1862. invited professor of violin playing in the newly opened St. Petersburg Conservatory, often performed in concerts and headed a quartet of the Russian Musical Society (Wieniawski, Pickel, Weinmann, Davydov).
