Biography VOROBEVA Anna Yakovlevna
(1816 - 1901). Her talent was not appreciated immediately, at first it was adopted only in the chorus. But the conductor KA. Kavos (her teacher at drama school) put forward her contralto soloist at the first installment (1833), and she soon established a reputation as a major artist.
